Hi there! My name is Jenn. I live in Northern California with my husband, two amazing kids (whom I homeschool), and a growing menagerie of animals (currently consisting of a neurotic cat and two very chatty parakeets). When my husband and I first met, he was very minimalist- the only decor he owned was a single framed photo, and everything he owned fit into the trunk of his Honda Civic. I, on the other hand, couldn’t sleep in my bed because my bedroom was so full and needed a dump truck to haul everything from my parent’s house. I spend the first year of our marriage (with my husband’s support) decluttering about 90% of my possessions, and while we still own too many books, we have successfully met in the middle. I spent years learning about clutter, organizing, hoarding disorder, and more, eventually getting training as a Certified Organizational Specialist so that I can help others create a home they love.
